Air Jordan is a yearly set of sneakers released by Jordan Brand, a NIKE, Inc. subsidiary. Created for six-time NBA Champion Michael Jordan in 1984, the Air Jordan line debuted at retail in 1985 with the Air Jordan 1. Currently on its 34th signature model, aptly named the Air Jordan 34, the Air Jordan line is the most popular athlete-specific sneaker line ever created.

Over the past 36 years, the Air Jordan range has hosted high-profile collaborations with UNDEFEATED and Supreme, among others, as well as an impressive set of Friends & Family and Player Exclusives (PE). In recent years, partnerships with Travis Scott, Virgil Abloh and Union LA have further granted the Air Jordan line unprecedented popularity.First teased via first looks by Hiroshi Fujiwara back in December and later on the soles of Travis Scott and Aleali May, Nike and Jordan’s epic “New Beginnings” Pack has officially received a released date falling a few days ahead of the NBA All-Star Weekend festivities. This two-piece collection is a heartfelt letter to that of vintage sneaker connoisseurs, bringing to the table the highly heralded Air Jordan 1 Hi ’85 as well as Nike’s Air Ship PE from 1984.

Updated [02/11/20]: The Air Jordan 1 Hi ’85/Nike Air Ship “New Beginnings” Pack will not be releasing on Nike.com or on Nike SNKRS on February 12. It did however release via SNKRS Pass on February 11th in NYC, Chi, and ATL.
